Brita filters: a worthwhile investment?

I honey the taste of Brita h2o. But I may simply like the bullpen's minimalist design, and the convenience of pouring absurd water directly from my refrigerator (I more often than not don't put ice in my water, and so the h2o I potable from the tap at dwelling is tepid). Does anyone find a difference in regular tap h2o vs. Brita h2o? And, at $35 for a bullpen and $half-dozen+ for each replacement filter, is it worth it?

I live in Florida where tap water is disgusting. I've used both the pitcher and faucet attachments for Brita and Pür and I've found that there are very niggling taste differences between brands and styles. They both improve the h2o quality equally, nonetheless the Pür faucet attachment with the blue (premium) filter has been the all-time. And then yes, a filter improves my h2o quality and I pass up to live without one.

As an OK resident, I concur with this. if in that location'south really hard water in your expanse, Brita filters really pay off. I dearest not tasting all the damn minerals. Plus, the water in my region has a lot of sulfer in it. It really tastes like ass when non filtered.
